E-commerce Accounting Services in the UAE

Gateway payouts reconciled to the order. Marketplace fees made visible. VAT filed from real sales data. Accounting built for how online businesses actually work.

Why generic accounting fails online sellers

An e-commerce business can have thousands of orders behind a single bank deposit. Stripe batches them. Amazon and Noon deduct commissions, fulfilment fees, and advertising before paying out. Tabby and Tamara settle on their own schedules. COD cash arrives weeks after the sale, minus courier fees.

A generic bookkeeper records the deposit and moves on. That means revenue is understated, fees are invisible, VAT is filed on the wrong numbers, and you have no idea which channel actually makes money. We reconcile from the order level up, so your books match reality and your reports answer real questions.

Frequently asked questions

How do you handle payment gateway reconciliation?

We reconcile every payout from gateways like Stripe, Checkout.com, PayTabs, Tabby, and Tamara back to individual orders, separating sales, gateway fees, refunds, and chargebacks. Your revenue figures then match your bank deposits, and gateway fees appear as a visible cost instead of silently shrinking your margins.

Can you manage accounting for Amazon.ae and Noon sellers?

Yes. Marketplace settlements bundle sales, commissions, fulfilment fees, advertising, and refunds into a single deposit. We break each settlement into its components so you can see true profitability per channel, and your VAT returns reflect actual sales rather than net payouts.

How is VAT handled for e-commerce sales in the UAE?

Standard-rated UAE sales carry 5% VAT, while exports of goods outside the UAE can be zero-rated when the evidence requirements are met. Marketplace sales, cash on delivery, and cross-border orders each have their own treatment. We set up your VAT logic per channel and file returns from reconciled data.

Do you work with cash on delivery (COD)?

Yes. COD through couriers like Aramex or Quiqup creates a timing gap between the sale and the cash arriving, plus courier fees to account for. We track COD receivables by courier so you always know how much of your cash is still in transit.

Which platforms and tools do you support?

Shopify, WooCommerce, Salla, Zid, Amazon.ae, and Noon on the sales side; Stripe, PayTabs, Tabby, Tamara, and COD couriers on the payments side; and Zoho Books, Xero, QuickBooks, and Wafeq for the accounting. We recommend and set up the stack that fits your volume.

What reports will I actually get?

Monthly P&L and balance sheet, plus e-commerce specific reporting: revenue and margin by sales channel, gateway and marketplace fees as a percentage of sales, refund and chargeback rates, inventory value, and COD receivables. Reports built for decisions, not just compliance.
